Wednesday, June 25, 2008: Mike plays at a benefit for Greg Bryant, who was severely burned while attempting to save Sandra Joyce Bundy in a Chimacum fire (6 PM at the Elks Lodge, 555 Otto Street, Port Townsend). See Jack Reid's website for details

Thursday, July 3, 2008: Mike returns to the The Upstage in Port Townsend 7:00 until 9:30 (or later)

Saturday, July 26, 2008: Mike plays the Bainbridge Island Farmer's Market in Town Square at City Hall Park, 9:00 AM until 1:00 PM

Saturday, Aug 2, 2008: Mike plays the Kingston Farmer's Market in Kingston, right next to the Ferry Terminal. -- 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM

Friday, August 8, 2008: Mike plays at an event at the The Upstage in Port Townsend 5:00 until 8:00. Full details soon.

Sunday, August 10, 2008: Mike plays the Summer Studio Tour on Bainbridge Island at the Dancing Spirit Studio. -- 1:00 pM until 3:00 PM

Thursday, August 14, 2008 Mike plays at Rhapsody in Bloom Coffee House (3709 6th Ave, Tacoma) -- 7 PM until closing.

Friday, August 15, 2008: Mike plays at The Courtyard Cafe (Formerly Bread and Roses) in Port Townsend -- 1:00 to 3:00 PM. They have a wonderful new outdoor stage.

Saturday, August 30, 2008: Mike plays the Tumbleweed Festival in Richland, River Stage, 5:45 - 6:30.

Saturday, Oct 4, 2008: Mike plays the Bainbridge Island Farmer's Market in Town Square at City Hall Park, 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM

  • May 14 We were the featured act at Seabold Second Saturday. Our own Ted Briggs-Comstock and his wife, Shirley, founded this in the early 1990s, when they lived on Bainbridge.

  • June 10 Idyll hands played the annual Preston dance with Warren Argo calling and providing instruction. This was the 12th year!

  • July 29 Mike backed up Matt Moeller in a KBCS live radio interview in Bellevue pumping Matt's new CD.
  • July 31 We played at Art in the Park at Monroe Summerfest A performance stage with various acts as part of the arts and crafts show.
  • August 6 11th Annual Acoustic Music Festival in Leavenworth, one of seven acts.
  • August 21 Mike played banjo at a private party at The Old Consulate Inn. in Port Townsend
  • Sept. 3 The Tumbleweed Festival. songwriting contest. Mike's song "Cosmopolis" took third place.
  • Sept. 4 Smoke Creek played inThe Tumbleweed Festival. We've played in every one so far. This was be our ninth.

  • Seabold Second Saturday on Bainbridge Island, April. We were happy to be the featured act at one of the best open mics in the Northwest! A lot of great music from a variety of performers. Non-smoking, non alcoholic. And a great old building. It's on the second Saturday of every month. Check it out!
  • MONROE Arts in the Park !! We played two sets there too, both on Saturday, in August.
